21st ETSF Workshop: Dynamics and spectroscopy of correlated systems

I am co-organizing the 21st edition of the  ETSF Workshop on Electronic Excitations “Dynamics and spectroscopy of correlated systems”. The workshop will be held at

Lund University, September 19 – 23,  2016:

The 2016 edition will focus on emergent phenomena in correlated
systems. The aim of the workshop is to foster the interaction between
the theory community, experimentalists and industry on this
scientifically challenging and technologically relevant theme. The
topics covered by the workshop will include:

– magnetism and strong correlations
– non-equilibrium dynamics and transport
– magnetic and multiferroic materials
– neutron/X-ray spectroscopy
– theoretical spectroscopy beyond density functional theory

Invited Speakers:

Silke Biermann, École Polytechnique, Paris, France
Hubert Ebert, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, München, Germany
Silvia Picozzi, CNR-Spin, L’Aquila, Italy
